From the outside, it looks like a typical home on a quiet street. But it could soon become a home winery. It caught our attention when we saw that a liquor license had been approved for Anthony Cellars on 8232 38th Ave NE.
The state’s Liquor Control Board tells us that the homeowners now have a domestic winery license that allows them to produce wine (crushing, aging, bottling). We have an interview scheduled with the owners later this week to find out what got them interested in winemaking, what kind of wines they’ll be creating, and perhaps most importantly– where you’ll be able to buy the wine. Look for the full story on Saturday.

Looking forward to taking “buying local” to a new level!
