The Wedgwood Safeway, which underwent a nearly $10 million renovation, will celebrate Friday afternoon with special deals for shoppers and live jazz featuring musicians from Roosevelt High School and Eckstein Middle School.
The Safeway, at 7340 35th Ave. N.E., will hold a preview party from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26.
On Saturday Safeway will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8 .am., which is open to the public.
