Chris Cronas has been the interim principal at Wedgwood Elementary for the last year. Interim superintendent Dr. Susan Enfield has made the position official.

TweetChris Cronas has been appointed principal for Wedgwood. He was the assistant principal at Nathan Eckstein Middle School, a position he held for two years. Prior to his assistant principal role, Cronas was an instruction and curriculum coach for three years. He also taught four years overseas in Japan, and is fluent in Japanese. His professional preparation includes a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and English Education from Ithaca College and Master of Education from the Danforth Educational Leadership Program at the University of Washington.

He’s a great guy – knows all the kids by name, pays attention to details. Always willing to stop what he’s doing to listen, makes himself available to parents and teachers – a great thing! We’re all glad he’s staying on board and leading the school forward.
